The University of Pisa is one of the oldest in the world, officially established in 1343 ; it is a public institution boasting twenty departments, with an excellent reputation in all areas and high level research centers in the sectors of physics, computer science, engineering, agriculture, social sciences, humanities, medicine and veterinary medicine.

Our Summer Schools offer a unique opportunity for students from all over the world to enjoy academic education in a pleasant environment. Pisa is ideally located in the middle of Tuscany, close to beaches and nature reserves that can be reached at the end of a day of lectures. Its strategic geographical location and the excellent rail and air connections offer also the possibility of week-end trips to other parts of Italy and Europe.
