Buddy Program

The International Relations Office offers their international exchange students a mentoring programme to help them cope with administrative procedures and settle comfortably at Toulon University. Through this programme, an international student can be paired with a student from UTLN so that they can get in touch with one another and communicate.

Why join the Buddy program ?

While studying or doing an internship abroad sounds very exciting, it might also seem intimidating at first particularly when you don’t speak fluently the language of the country you will be visiting. The Buddy Program helps international students deal with language and cultural differences and develop social contacts with students from the Toulon University.

What’s a Buddy ?

A buddy (or ‘mate’) is a student from Toulon University who is interested in languages and other cultures and also wishes to welcome an international student in his/her country to show him/her around, practice a foreign language and learn about a new culture.

What kind of help can a Buddy offer ?

A Buddy can help you get the swing of things by communicating in your own language and explain about studying at Toulon University or just about living in France.

How can I join the programme ?
