Appel à communication 18th International Congress on Marine Corrosion and Fouling – ICMCF 2016
The forthcoming 18th International Congress on Marine Corrosion and Fouling (18th ICMCF), organized on behalf of the COIPM, will take place in Toulon, France, from June 19 to 24, 2016.
This congress has a rich history of having hosted attendees and speakers from both academia and industry and providing an environment wherein attendees have interacted and established relationships.
The 18th ICMCF will keep with past traditions by providing an interdisciplinary program that will highlight recent researches in understanding and combating biofouling and corrosion in the marine environment. The ambition of this congress is to bring experts from around the world providing the latest basic and applied research advances in biology, microbiology, chemistry, physical chemistry, coatings and materials to help meet these challenges.
This congress will contain presentations from invited speakers and submitted papers which will undergo a selection process based on peer-reviewed abstracts. Academic authors, industrial collaborators are encouraged to submit an abstract.
The abstract should be submitted before 15 January 2016.
Instructions for the abstract submission and the submission form are available on the 18th ICMCF website.
If you have submitted an abstract, you will NOT automatically be registered as a conference participant.
Attendees are invited to submit a manuscript in a Special Issue of the "Journal of Marine Science and Engineering (JMSE) — Open Access Journal".
In 2016, a joint workshop "Bridging the gap between academia and industry – A collaborative enterprise", co-organized by BYEFOULING and SEAFRONT EU funded projects, both challenging a wide spectrum of aspects related to marine fouling, will be held on Friday, 24 June 2016 under the auspices of the 18th ICMCF in Toulon, France.
We are looking forward to your contribution and participation at the 18th ICMCF in 2016 !
