Emergency and Safety Instructions

You must also familiarize yourself with emergency instructions posted in public areas, notably those pertaining to fires or accidents or specific work areas (equipment, hazardous materials etc...)
Your professor must provide you with safety instructions prior to any tutorial, especially when you are required to handle hazardous materials or products.

Evacuation Drills

The University organises evacuation or fire containment drills. You are required to participate and must follow the instructions given to you.

Hygiene, Safety, and Work Conditions Board (CHSCT)

The CHSCT works to improve the safety, health and working conditions off the personnel and students at the University. The CHSCT makes recommendations based on professional risks, health and safety observations, the Department of Preventive Medicine’s annual report, accident reports, and building inspections etc. Feel free to contact a member of the board if you have any problems or suggestions on how to improve your study environment.

Health and Safety Log

Should you encounter any safety or health problems on any of the campuses, please contact the Office of Health, Safety, and the Environment at 06 74 00 58 90 or by e-mail at csse univ-tln.fr. You may also record your observations and suggestions in the health and safety log located at the reception of each building.

HEALTH

You must fill out an accident report form available at the reception of each Faculty or Research Unit.
You may also contact the safety/security officer on campus at : 06 11 25 11 44 or 04 94 14 23 71.

In the laboratories, tutorial rooms, and workshops

All 1st year students will have a mandatory medical exam at the Department of Preventive Medicine and Health.

You may contact the Social Services Department for other everyday difficulties you may encounter.

Students with Disabilities

If you suffer from a disability or long-term illness, contact the Department of Preventive Medicine and Health (SUMPPS) to make special arrangements for your studies and exams as well as “Mission Handicap”.
