Research Units

Within the framework of the University of Toulon’s 2012-2017 Strategic Plan, 15 Research Units are officially recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

The University of Toulon is an interdisciplinary university. The organisation of its Research Units reflects the diversity of the fields of research. Of the fifteen Research Units at the University of Toulon, five are CNRS UMRs jointly operated with the University of Aix-Marseille (AMU) and ten host teams (EA) including three jointly operated with the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis (UNS).
